Presenter: Darien Fleming
Too often we lose bright mid-level associates because we were unable to help them make the crucial developmental leap from mid-level to senior associate. Join us as we discuss the critical competencies for mid-level associates and learn coaching tools to help them successfully meet those expectations.
During this session, we will focus on 4 common scenarios that hold associates back:
(i) the associate who cannot seem to move from private soldier (taking orders) to sergeant (thinking independently and being proactive)
(ii) the associate who has failed to connect with anyone and needs a champion
(iii) the associate who comes to your office with a story and needs help seeing a different perspective
(iv) the associate who is smart but has a glaring deficiency (e.g., cannot complete assignments on time)
Together we will design coaching conversations for the above scenarios and learn to utilize the following coaching tools:
Powerful Questions, Embodiment, Miller & Miller Awareness Wheel, Perspective Shifting and Coaching Circle of Feedback
